Energy is created traditionally from fossil fuel origins.  Our electricity has been generated from coal and our fuel for transportation has been generated from petroleum.  A change in energy sources for our home and cars is now coming into play.  The graph below shows the distribution of various sources of energy for the main four demand sectors in America.
